# Wiki pages and checklists Create, organize, and share collaborative Wiki pages, write checklists, and work safely with your agent. Source: https://docs.opser.com/apps/wiki/ ## Open Wiki Wiki keeps your team's knowledge in a tree of collaborative pages. Use it for instructions, process documentation, meeting notes, and checklists. Open **Wiki** from your workspace's apps. If it is missing, ask an admin to check installation and your access; available apps depend on your workspace. ## Create and organize pages Choose **New page**, enter a title, and write in the editor. Pages can contain other pages: use a page's add control in the tree, or the editor's page command, to create a subpage. Open a page from the tree to read or edit it. Use the page controls to move, duplicate, or favorite a page. Moving or duplicating a page includes its subpages. Move unwanted pages to **Trash**; restore them there if needed. Permanent deletion removes the page and its subpages for good. ## Write a checklist In the editor, type `/` to open the block menu and choose a checklist item. Write one step per item and click its checkbox to mark it complete. Combine checklists with headings and explanatory paragraphs to document a process. An agent can create a page with an initial Markdown body, including task-list syntax: ```markdown - [ ] Review the instructions - [ ] Confirm the owner - [x] Prepare the draft ``` The unchecked items are pending; the checked item is complete. Review the page in Wiki after creation. A checkbox records completion on that page; assigning work, deadlines, or notifications requires a separate supported workflow. ## Find and share pages Use Wiki search to find pages by title or body text. Favorite pages you revisit. Copy the page link to share it with a teammate who has access. A link opens the page but does not grant permission to view it. People can edit the same page collaboratively. Use page comments for discussion and inline comments for a passage. Resolve an inline thread when the discussion is finished. ## Ask your agent to work in Wiki > Create a Wiki page called Launch checklist under our Operations page. Include preparation steps as unchecked items and link me to the result. The agent can find, read, create, and organize pages using Wiki tools. `wiki_create_page` accepts an optional title, parent page, and initial Markdown body. Ask the agent to find the parent page first and use the returned page URL for the result. Before changing an existing page, the agent should read it. Replacing its body requires the latest revision and approval; if someone edits it meanwhile, the agent must read it again. Body replacement can leave existing inline comments without their text anchors, so review the replacement and affected comments carefully. Collaborator-visible comments and permanent deletion also require approval. ## Access and troubleshooting `wiki.view` allows reading and searching. `wiki.edit` allows editing content, favorites, and comments. `wiki.manage` allows creating, moving, duplicating, trashing, restoring, and permanently deleting pages. An agent also needs access to the Wiki app. An admin manages grants under [Settings → Permissions](https://docs.opser.com/workspace/permissions/). If a page or action is unavailable, check your access and whether the page is in Trash. Wiki tools need an initiating user for permission checks and attribution; an automation running without one cannot use them. See [Approvals and control](https://docs.opser.com/agents/approvals/) for agent action review.
