Choose an outcome

Opser agents combine platform tools, installed app tools, and connected services. Start with what you want to achieve; the agent can choose the appropriate tools when they are available.

More than a single tool call

A task may involve several steps: reading records, asking a question, analyzing files, delegating a bounded piece of work, and preparing a result. The conversation brings those steps together. The agent can use its workspace to process files and run supporting code when the environment permits it.

Data inspection is complete, the portal build is in progress, and access review and testing are pending.

Some tools become available only when relevant to the task. Installed apps contribute their own actions; the app’s interface and its agent tools work with the same underlying records.

What controls availability

A capability needs the appropriate workspace configuration, permissions, and sometimes a connected account. Some operations consume credits in addition to the model’s usage. Review usage and credits and approval rules before automating a costly or consequential workflow.

When something is unavailable, ask the agent which dependency is missing. A different model alone will not install an app, authorize a mailbox, or grant permission.
