Connect an account

Open your agent’s Integrations area and choose an available service. Follow the connection flow and approve the requested scopes with the external provider. Return to Opser and verify the connection is active.

Connect an account

Gmail and Google Calendar are connected to maya@northstar.example for this example agent. Available services depend on the workspace.

You can also ask the agent to connect a supported integration. Complete the sign-in step yourself when the agent gives you a connection link. Never send passwords, session cookies, or secret API keys as chat messages.

Choose the right account and agent

Check which agent you are configuring and which external account you authorize. A personal connection, a shared agent connection, and an installed app’s mailbox access are different scopes.

Connecting an account does not mean every teammate should be able to read its contents. If an installed app also uses that service, review the app’s separate connection and access settings.

Use the connection

Name the service and the outcome in your request. The agent can discover supported operations and use the permissions granted by the provider. Some writes may require approval.

Find next week’s customer meetings in the connected calendar and prepare a briefing from the related CRM accounts. Do not send any messages.

Available services and operations depend on what your environment supports. A familiar service name is not a promise that every feature of that service is exposed in Opser.

Reconnect or disconnect

Expired authorization, revoked scopes, and changes at the provider can break a connection. Check its status, reconnect if necessary, and retry a small read before repeating a write.

Disconnect an account you no longer use. Review any schedules or workflows that depended on it so failed runs do not come as a surprise.

App integrations

Some apps use administrator-managed connections for their own operations. Those may have separate configuration and access controls from the agent’s account connections.
