Keep your account details recognizable and manage your sign-in password.

Open Settings → Profile. Update your display name and use the avatar control to upload a profile image. Save the changes and check the result in the account interface.
You can also ask your agent in chat. Attach a photo and say "use this as my profile picture", or ask it to change your display name. The agent saves the change the same way this page does, and the new picture shows in the sidebar straight away.
Your email address is shown as account information. It is not editable through the same name field. Ask your workspace administrator for help if the address associated with your account needs attention.
Linked accounts on the same page manages your Google sign-in link and a ChatGPT subscription connection that your agents can use for Codex models (see models).
Change your password
Use the password section on the Profile page. Enter your current password, a new password, and the confirmation, then submit the change. If the confirmation does not match or the current password is incorrect, correct the inputs and try again.
Use a password unique to this account. Do not send it to an agent conversation or include it in a support request.
Signing in for the first time
An admin invites you by email. Open the link, enter your name and choose your own password; nobody else sets it for you.
Recover a forgotten password
Use Forgot password on your workspace's sign-in page to request a reset email. Open the single-use link and choose a new password. If the link has expired or already been used, request another one. A successful request does not confirm whether an email address has an account.
Sign-in can also require a verification code sent by email. Enter that code in the sign-in flow; never share it in a conversation. See workspace access.
If you cannot sign in
Confirm you are using the correct workspace address and account email. Ask your administrator to check whether your account exists and is active. Do not create a duplicate account to work around an access problem.
See troubleshooting for information to include when requesting help.
